I have lived in the area all my life and have over 20 years
experience with the RNLI at Appledore, 16 years as a
helmsman. With vast knowledge of the local area I look
forward to sharing with you what this amazing stretch of
river has to offer.
During my time with the RNLI I have been awarded a Bronze
Medal for gallantry in 2006 and the
Groombridge Award for most meritorious service performed by
an RNLI lifeboat crewman. The rescue is now on you tube and
can be seen below...
So come and join me in the sheltered waters of Appledore
where the picturesque river Torridge and river Taw meet the
Atlantic. I can organise trips to suit
just you or you, your family and friends. I hopefully look
forward to welcoming you onboard soon.
